Provo, UT

A self-proclaimed “chronic reader and runner,” Ryan Joel Freeman spends a lot of his time doing both in Provo, Utah. Ryan is a freelance writer and contributes to publications including Elite Daily. When he’s not at his desk writing his latest article, you can find him running on one of Utah’s many beautiful trails or in the kitchen prepping one of his favorite vegan dishes.

In college, Ryan was an offensive lineman on his school’s football team, which is where he snapped his left Achilles tendon (twice) and tore his right calf muscle. After undergoing seven orthopedic surgeries and several other injuries, Ryan was ready to make a lifestyle change. He became an ultra-distance runner, but he’s still concerned about the health of his legs. He loves that VIM & VIGR “disguises” compression socks as regular, stylish socks that he can wear while working out, going out, or just relaxing after a 25+ training run! Whether he’s working on a short story or hitting the trail, Ryan trusts that his VIM & VIGR compression socks will help support his leg health, blood circulation and comfort all day long.
