Who Are VIM & VIGR Ambassadors?

Since the beginning, the VIM & VIGR team has been on a mission to provide high-quality compression legwear products that would improve people’s lives without compromising their style. It is our passion to offer our customers a comfy-chic solution to swollen ankles, sore calves, lethargic legs, vein complications and more so that they can continue living their lives to the fullest! Over the last few months, we’ve taken the time to get to know some of our customers and their stories - what inspires them, why the use compression legwear, how it impacts them and so on. During this process, we rounded up a handful of these amazing people to represent VIM & VIGR as official brand ambassadors, or in other words, brought together real people with unique interests and lifestyles to answer your questions and demonstrate why they love our compression legwear!

Until we get to introduce each of them to you, here are three tidbits on our fabulous ambassadors:

  1. They love to explore. Whether they are taking on a mountainside marathon, road tripping to a new place or acting as a tourist in their own city, VIM & VIGR ambassadors are always seeking new experiences. The last thing they want is to get slowed down by achy or sluggish legs!
  2. They’re sitters & standers. Aren’t we all?! While their job descriptions may vary, our ambassadors know how to take care of business. They are the caring parents running around the playground with their kids and the office dwellers working hard to deliver their best work.
  3. They’ve got style. These individuals aren’t afraid of rocking a pop of color or a fun pattern on a run, at a PTA meeting or on the court! Feeling restricted by a lack of flair or discomfort really isn’t their thing.

If you or someone you know sounds like the perfect fit for our new brand ambassador program, we want to hear from you! Leave a comment with why you think you or your friend would be an awesome addition to our team of ambassadors and one of our representatives will reach out to you.

Hi Michelle!

I’m so excited to have V&V be a part of our team for Hood to Coast! I’m elated I was introduced to the socks not only for the fashion (Hello! So cute!) but for the functionality as well. My life holds interesting juxtaposition … I’m competitive runner and busy athlete trying to squeeze in hundreds of miles, strength training, yoga and stretching… but 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, I’m a sales rep at a global company spending most of that time on a computer and the phone. That’s a lot of sitting … but a lot of moving too, and not much in-between. I wear compression socks EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. If I don’t, my feet and legs are not nearly as refreshed if I do. Even if it’s 90 degrees outside and I’m wearing a skirt, I wear the socks. Your seamless styles don’t make me feel like a “runner” wearing socks because they aren’t neon or blasted with a logo. They are office appropriate and appreciated by this girl!

I would love, love, love to be a brand ambassador! I’m keyed in to the running community and I’m a member of the Oiselle team which is 750+ women strong in the US, UK & AUS. This group of gals in savvy, passionate about the sport and fashionable beyond… check out oiselle.com. I’d love to share your styles with the team.

Thanks for your time and consideration!

Sizing, Fabric & Compression Levels Guide

Size Chart:

We have a different sizing chart depending on the type of compression garment. Please consider your foot and calf circumference when choosing your size.

If you're in between sizes, ask yourself a few questions:
What is my body type? Will I be more comfortable in a size up or down? Take your body type into consideration when choosing a size especially if you're in between sizes.

Compression Levels:

Compression garments are made in a variety of support levels, each of which is designed to address different needs. These levels are most commonly expressed in millimeters of mercury (abbreviated as mmHg). Generally, graduated compression is displayed in ranges. The higher the numerical value, the stronger the support level indicated. For example, a 20-30 mmHg garment will offer more support and feel tighter than a 15-20 mmHg garment.

All of VIM & VIGR’s products are offered in 15-20 mmHg compression level and select styles are available in 20-30 mmHg.

How to put on compression socks:

Slip your arm into the sock until your fingers reach the toes. Your palm should be resting in the sock's heel.

Starting at the cuff, fold the sock over until it meets the heel. Make sure to fold the sock onto itself.

With the sock still inverted, pull the foot of the sock firmly onto your foot. Make sure your toes are securely in the toe pocket. Starting with the cuff, gradually roll the sock up.

Adjust so that your heel is properly positioned in the heel pocket and the cuff sits below the knee. Make sure the cuff is not pulled up too high.
