How They Work

Style and technology, meet sock:

We use an advanced Gradient Pressure™ knitting technology featuring our standard 15-20 mmHg graduated compression . The ultra gradual compression starts at the ankle and goes up the leg, ensuring maximum comfort and effectiveness. These high-functioning socks help:

  • Energize legs
  • Prevent swelling
  • Alleviate achiness and heaviness
  • Prevent and reduce spider and varicose veins
  • Aid in muscle recovery

All of VIM & VIGR’s products are listed with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). VIM & VIGR's compression socks come in a variety of materials including cotton, nylon/spandex, wool, and a moisture wick material. The moisture wicking fabric helps draw sweat and moisture off of the skin and onto the top of the compression sock fabric in order to help evaporate the moisture.

Everyone can benefit from wearing VIM & VIGR Compression Socks

Sitters – It only takes 90 minutes of sitting for the blood flow below your knees to decrease by 50%. This can lead to vascular injury and DVTs. (e.g. road warriors, desk jobs)

Standers – Being on your feet all day can cause pain, swelling, and fatigue in your legs and feet. (e.g. healthcare providers, teachers, hair stylists, flight attendants, servers)

Athletes – Graduated compression socks decrease exercise-induced muscle soreness and shorten recovery times. (e.g. runners, bikers, yogis)

Pregnant Women – The increased blood volume and pressure from a growing uterus can inhibit blood flow and cause swollen and tired feet and varicose veins.
