Supporting Our Healthcare Professionals

Compression socks for nurses

This is an unprecedented moment in our communities. As a small business, we have been navigating the changes along with you - doing our best to take care of our customers while also keeping our staff & workplace safe.

While the days ahead may hold uncertainty, we are focusing on what we can do right now.

Right now, there are doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals working around the clock to treat an influx of patients. These brave men and women are risking their health and well-being to care for others.

We have the opportunity to help. Compression socks have been a favorite accessory of healthcare professionals for years. Doctors and nurses are some of our dearest customers & biggest advocates. Now, it's our turn to give back.

Last week we ran a social media campaign and gave away socks to your loved ones on the front lines of the pandemic. It was amazing to see the outpouring of support for healthcare professionals. But, we want to do more.

For every purchase over the next month, we will be donating a pair of VIM & VIGR socks to a healthcare professional on the front lines of COVID-19.

It's not going to save the world, but it's going to send a little love to those who are.

We invite you to join us in doing what we can, right now. We're in this together.

First, I LOVE my vimvigr socks. Second, I’ve been an RN for 18 years. 10 years in corrections, 8 years in NICU, now back in corrections on concrete, so while I appreciate the ED/ICU as it was my home for 8 years until a month ago, I would hope it’s fair to recognize that ALL nurses not just ED & ICU nurses wear compression socks…I did just buy another pair, and also put the information for the prison I work in for free socks as we are all exhausted as well, AND quarantined…working 16 hour shifts.
Thank you for making a spectacular product, and, for at least reading my message! Right now, every nurse is risking their safety and leaving their children and husbands at home. It’s a strange time for all.
    God bless.

Hi. My name is Tasha. I currently work at a freestanding inpatient psychiatric hospital. We are often overlooked or just not thought of in terms of healthcare. Many of our patients are homeless and don’t get consistent physical care so when they are admitted to our hospital we take care of it all. We help adolescents with mental illness, geriatric patients and everything in between. We however don’t receive attention unless we essentially send up SOS signals. We don’t have the appropriate PPE but myself and the awesome nurses and behavioral health techs on staff show up in spite the huge risk of our current situation. We don’t have access to a lot of the “comforts” of being in a big medical center. Now, especially we’re providing care of those who have reached the end of a tenuous rope or who have broken in the face of too many stressors. We do this praying that we won’t get our families, co-workers or patients sick. I love Vim & Vigr, they’ve gotten me through many 12+ hour shift and more. Thanks for your support!
