Dear VIM & VIGR Family,
It’s hard to believe it’s already been FIVE years since VIM & VIGR began. What started as a dream fueled by my own search for stylish compression socks has grown into a thriving company that has touched thousands of lives with our one-of-a-kind product. What a journey it has been!
This has been the most exciting year yet. We saw our socks featured on CNN Travel, the View and Good Morning America. Last month, we were listed as one of Inc. 5000’s fastest-growing companies. Not only did we make the list, but we ranked #875 out of 5000! Seeing our three-year growth rate of 575% on paper affirmed the thrilling whirlwind the last few years have been. I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
The past year has brought many new faces to our company – bright, driven individuals who share a passion for providing everyday wellness through our compression legwear – but more than that, teammates who energize one another with new ideas and big thinking. We are better because of each and every one of these talented colleagues.
With a growing team, we’ve been able expand our product line, bringing new options – like our MOVE compression sleeves – to the market and telling the story of everyday wellness in fun and creative ways. What started as a handful of colorful socks has transformed into a whole catalog full of legwear – from men’s to women’s, cotton to merino wool, sleeves to tights.
As we celebrate our fifth anniversary, we wanted to share a glimpse behind the scenes – into the culture, people and community that make VIM & VIGR an amazing place to work and create. Together, this team is committed to bringing you – our tremendous customers, cheerleaders and advocates - innovative compression legwear and unmatched style for years to come.
You make what we do worth it. Your stories - of developing healthy habits, of achieving new goals, of experiencing less pain and swelling after a long day at work – drive us to be the best that we can be. Mary—I’ve got plenty of grey hair—not sure why it doesn’t show in the photo. I’ve been married 38 yrs. I have 2 daughters who are older than most of the V&V team and I have a 4 1/2 yr granddaughter—-so you’re in good company! So glad you and your family have benefited from our amazing socks. I truly love these socks. I have had trouble finding sock that will fit my wide calf legs! You answered my dream of having socks that fit and are very comfortable. I love the variety of socks and you have made me slip out of my comfort zone with all the neat colors and designs. I highly recommend these socks to everyone who will listen.
Wish I’d seen at least one gray hair on the team! You’ve changed our world too as we need the support all the time and you know how ugly the “flesh” tone stockings are! When I work camo stockings on Christmas morning, my 26 year old grandson said “Nice legs, Grandma!” My heart soared. I give them as gifts to friends and this Christmas, eveyone in the family is getting a pair!
First of all, I can’t believe it’s been five years since Michelle’s idea became a reality! So much has been accomplished in that time by a very dedicated, motivated, innovative young woman who truly epitomizes the entrepreneurial spirit! The products continue to be amazing, but more than that the staff of young innovators who truly love and support their workplace and it’s challenges is a wonderful endorsement of Michelle and her vision! 🧦
